Several Changes at City Welding!

We are excited to announce several changes to the company since our last Newsletter. Firstly, Pete L. LaBelle, CET joined the company as Operations Manager in June 2014 after several years as Operations Manager with GJ Mechanical. Pete is largely responsible for estimating and managing larger projects. He is a Certified Engineering Technologist and brings with him a great deal of experience in Civil engineering and Construction Management. He can be reached by email at pete@cityweldingsudbury.ca.

Secondly, we wish to thank Ravi Saini who seized an opportunity this past June to grow his professional career and joined Day Construction. Ravi was hired as a Draftsman in 2007 before being promoted to Estimator. He was also involved in improving City Welding’s processes. We wish him well in his future endeavours.

Also, on November 1, 2015 Georges, Brouillette, founder, passed the torch to his son Robert who is now the proud Owner and President of City Welding Sudbury (2015) Limited after being the company’s General Manager for the past 9 years. Georges is still an important member of the City Welding team and is looking forward to teaching and supporting Robert for years to come.

With this change, Pete LaBelle has assumed the added responsibilities of General Manager in addition to those of Operations Manager. Pete will now also be involved in the day to day operations.

We are honoured and proud to have donated a custom fire pit to Miners for Cancer here in the Sudbury area.
